101 in 1001

I saw this on a few blogs and I thought it was a cool idea. The idea is to make a list of 101 things I want to accomplish in 1001 Days, which is around 2.75 years, if the world doesn’t end in 2012 right? I will cross items off and blog about them as I progress through my list! So after much thought here is my list in no particular order except for the first one!:

1. Reduce my commute

2. Visit my best friend Bethany in whatever country/state she is in.

3. Go wine tasting in Napa Valley

4. Start our family :)

5. Run a 5k

6. Be debt free! (not including our mortgage)

7. Eat a Philly Cheesesteak in Philadelphia

8. Visit the Dogfish Head Brewery

9. Visit my friend Kelly in Vermont

10. Go on a Cruise with Erik

11. Finish the quilt I started in 10th grade

12. Read 13 books in 2011; 14 in 2012, etc.

13. Lose 15 more pounds and keep it off

14. Take the EIT/ FE exam

15. Go snowboarding in Vermont

16. Watch my other best friend Richie marry his best friend Alaina :)

17. Go on a real picnic

18. Go  to  Vancouver

19. Plan someone’s wedding

20. Go to Italy

21. Bike to work

22. Eat Pho twice in one day

23. Save $10 for each of the activities I finish on my 101

24. Donate Baby car :(

25. Attend an Indian Wedding

26. Go to a sporting event outside of the DMV

27. Go Horseback riding

28. Go Snowmobiling

29. Meet a celebrity and get their autograph

30. Go snorkeling

31. Go scuba diving

32. Take a cooking class

33. Take a hot yoga class

34. Eliminate soda from my diet

35. Host a wine and cheese party

36. Put tile on our fireplace

37. Run a half marathon

38. Join/start a book club

39. Run a 10k

40. Get my wedding dress cleaned and preserved

41. Begin and complete a 365 day photo project

42. Donate old clothes to good will

43. Try one new recipe each week

44. Visit Warren in Chicago

45. Eat at an unusual restaurant

46. Take my sister to an amusement park

47. Watch my sister graduate High School

48. Take my sister to college and help her move in!! (if she goes away to school)

49. Volunteer

50. Learn how to go Toe Side on my snowboard

51. Eat at Ben’s chili bowl

52. Eat a Georgetown Cupcake

53. Go to a comedy show

54. Go to a Tea Party, at the Ritz

55. Host and Ugly Sweater party

56. Drink 8 glasses of water a day

57. Refinance our house

58. Go to the beach with my closest friends

60. Go an entire day without using my phone

61. Make Peach Jam

62. Mail a birthday card to a friend

63. Go to an outdoor movie

64. Join Gold Gym (again)

65. Finish the full 90 days of P90x

66. Do Jillian Micheals’ 30 day workout completely

70. Go to Las Vegas, (and win a lot of money, hehe)

71. Teach Ella not to run away when we take her leash off

72. Go Bungee Jumping

73. Make a new friend

74. Get a new garage door

75. Go to a Capitols game

76. Make an Ice Cream Cake from scratch

77. Start composting

78. Write a letter to myself to open in 10 years

79. Go to New Orleans again

80. Take a few systems engineering classes

81. Go to the DC 101 chili cook-off, and compete with my chili

82. Go Kayaking

83. Laugh until I can’t breathe

85. Brew our own beer

86. Go to a horse race

88. Camp in our backyard

89. Learn to make Iranian Food

90. Learn to make my own Greek yogurt

92. Organize our office better

93. Take more pictures of our families

94. Go hiking

95. Motivate others to live a healthier lifestyle

96. Beat Erik in Cornhole

97. Make more blog friends

98. Donate hair to Locks of Love

99. Teach Erik how to speak Farsi :)

100. Compliment someone everyday

101. Reduce the amount of sugar and salt in my diet!
